Hello! I began my career as a professional aviator because I was inspired by the fighter pilots and fighter planes of WWII. Their influence has propelled me along my journey from fledgling, to flight instructor and aerobatics instructor, to my 25-year career as a corporate pilot. At work I fly a Phenom 300 and King Air 350. For play I fly a Vans RV-4 that I call “The Pretendastang”. It’s marked as if it were my assigned Mustang from the “Blue Nosed Bastards of Bodney”. In it, I’ve had some of the most exciting and rewarding moments of my life, simulating the air combat experiences of WWII with a small and highly disciplined group of other pilots. This book was inspired by an Oshkosh, Airventure forum that I started in 2022 called “Fighter Combat WWII” . I look forward to seeing you there in 2024 for the official book launch!
